I'm slightly baffled...

I'm entering a the XT-23 system and I get attacked awesome. Now next thing you know, your supose to stop a courrier from leaving so I kill all the bad guys and for some "unknown" reason my engines stop working and thats the end until I get killed off. The other aspect is if I try to leave once I enter the system I'll be given "Oups sorry there buddy but your game over".... I can't even get to Ternie to complete the mission....

i have the same issue i cannot leave the system.

might have to return to an older save and choose a different path (if that's possible?)

Ok people now lisen the Motherbase stop because that is what hapen is not an eror ,yo will be given another ship after you find Ternie ,at this mison yo must not alow your Motherbase and all fighters to be destroy ,try to instal some rage turets ,and if a pilot is an ace at driving ships, buy a Wyvern,the trick at this misions that after yo have been atack you must find the patrols and make to come to your Motherbase canons ,until you destroy all patrols ,you will get experience and expensive equipments

Hey there,

No use. I can't be destroyed I got 9500 shields and 3500 armor + 7 merc fully equipped, plus 4 advanced fighter. I kill all the attackers but on the second volley you get a message saying that your "mothership engines are have now failed" and you can't move or do anything.... care to explain that one?

It's a scripted part of the quest. Go on with just fighters.

Thx. Same issue. I get there just my mother ship. Loaded with Asmodeus taurets, hifocus particle weapons. 3 shields generator. I don't get killed.

Everything around gets destroyed. The courrier ship also and then a scripted part of the quest where Wayvern says that our engines have faild and now I can move regardless and thats the end. I left it like that for a good 10minutes.

OK HERE IS WHAt HAPPENS:

1. Mothership engines die

2. launch PLAYER fighters and continue the mission WITH JUST THE FIGHTERS!!! Forget about your old mothership, you will get a new one after you save Ternie
