    Yes, there is. Basically it's the same as in SH3 and SH4.

    It depends on what you want to change, but there are several .sim and .zone files (torpedoes, shell, Subs, see library-file or objects-file) which can be opened with the GoblinEditor you will find in your SH5 folder. Just take care, that your folder settings (must be entered at two different places) in GoblinEditor are correct.

    That shows how to edit pretty much everything, including sub speed, torpedo storage, and torpedo speed/damage.

    The idiots guide is great for learning about Goblin (the included editor for SH5) but it teaches very little beyond how to load it, and the order you should load files (i.e. a .gr2 file 1st and then the .sim file after or it screws up).

    You can edit every subs characteristics down to turning speed, dive speed, etc and you can edit torpedoes to be stupid fast and basically turn into tactical nukes. I also turned my deck gun into a damn machine gun and my AA guns into near laser beams. The problem with the deck guns is I was not able to find the right ammo to change so I simply used the crew skill edit mentioned earlier just for that and my deck gun can now sink a Large Convoy (at far range) in less than a minute.

    Make sure to make back-ups of any files before you alter them in case you want to play legit and not all super sub mode.
