For some reason, I can't seem to get the Add Probes function to work in the trainer (running 1.01 Steam version).

All the other trainer functions I've tried work fine (credits, resources, ammo, reload, health) but I can't seen to get more probes.

The instructions say press ] key and then enter the SCANNING mode. When you leave the scanner and come back you will have more probes. Which exact screen am I supposed to be at when I press ]? I've tried from the normandy ship, from the solar system screen, from the planet screen, and while actually on the scanning mode screen. So then I enter the scanning mode screen, exit it, and go back in, and no extra probes. Am I doing something wrong?

(BTW I'm doing this fairly early into the game, (having just gotten Mordin), in the initial Omega solar system.

solar system screen works for me

It works for me. You can press ] when ever you want and it will set your probes to 48. Use some go out of Scan mode and go back in and bam you have 48 probes again.
