Has anyone ever managed to get the cheats to work? Putting in the developer bit in the short cut and changing the keybindings path to a key still doesnt seem to work. I know you dont see a dev console but i dont get the funny markings at the top of the screen and typing just moves my character around etc.... anyone have a better discription then what the cheats say on how to get this to work?
Thanks for any help. I only want it to change the approval rating for some of my companions.

Well, the description of the cheats is pretty good. It works perfectly for me with my french keyboard and no special keybinding.
About that keybinding, are you sure it works? It's not mentioned in the cheats, so maybe you should try without it at first.
Also, there is no "funny markings" at the top of the screen when you enable the console.

Ok ive worked it out for UK keyboard, i think the setup is the same as a us anyway, its the grave key as default for me (left of 1 key).
What isnt discribed in here or in 99% of the rest of the net is that the permamiter needs to be put in a shortcut that is directly pointing to the daorigins.exe and not the shortcut that the game makes which points to the lanucher thats why it wasnt working.
Also all the cheats work but some sites say you have to click on the character to add approval, that is wrong, you need to type (for example) runscript zz_addapproval alistair 5.
Also when you start typing all the keys on the keyboard show up at the top of the screen so you know its working. Also you cant move or press anything while the console is up.
Note the only way i can see of removing the console is by pressing enter.
