use reset apps button in settings>apps>default and add the trainer and/or folder it's in as well as the work folder

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work

to your security software's exclusion list.

The trainer has appeared to have stopped working for me. I install and run the trainer at which point the Cheathappens bar pops up, however this then closes and the trainer itself does not load up. Subsequent attempts to run it appear to encounter the same problem.

I've tried running the trainer in admin mode e.t.c but seemingly no joy. Anyone else encountering this problem?

Hello, when using winnar, I accidentally clicked on the internet explorer and now the trainer opens for me using the internet explorer, how can I change it because I do not have an option on the icon to choose how I want to start it, I downloaded the winnar and trainer again, but it has already been saved in some settings and still opens via internet explorer knows how to fix it?

hey mate, ive reinstalled this game today but the current patch #9 isnt working.
i started with using option 6 for battle funds
then tried the campaign and the screen was frozen after intro cutscene.

steam has posted this though on 25/4/23 (could this be the reason the trainer isnt working?)

We've pushed out a small update to which addresses crashes with 12th gen Intel CPUs. This update also removes integrated chat from the game. In the meantime, we encourage you to make use of the official server as a free chat and voice option, or to use one of the many third-party programs available to communicate with your teammates. In addition to this change, we’ve updated the game to better use of modern architecture, which should result in notable performance improvements in Total War: Napoleon. We’ve also added support and fixed a crash seen with 12th-generation Intel CPUs.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Please put in a platform request if you are having troubles with anon-retail version of the game

To submit a request for a new distribution platform, please use our trainer requests system. Once at least 5 people request the same distribution, it will be available for funding. Please do NOT use the trainer option request system to request new platforms as they will be denied. Premium members at any level may request a new distribution as long as it’s done through the normal request system.

Similar to Total War Empire, we don't own this game any more. We made trainer for this super old title with RETAIL disks, and I am not even sure where those disk are any more. The last update we did, we did for retail basically, and it was 3 years ago.

People are going to have to use the SYSTEM to request steam version of the game, not just ask for "updates"



Note also that there is a zillion versions of the game, including "Definitive edition", which if you are asking for STEAM you are probably asking for THAT specifically, similar to people asking for Total War Empire on steam which is likely actually DEFINITIVE EDITION, which isn't the same, and etc.
