I checked out the Valve forums site and found no reference to your and my problem and about a zillion other players having this problem. I cannot accept this ending if it is scripted.This big time

Hi Folks,

i have load both Trainers, but have used for my XP System the DX9/10 Version.

No Crashes, the Trainer says ACTIVATED, but it didnt work.

I have reinstall all again, have do no updates at STEAM, but nothing works. I have used a other Trainer, where you can CHECk your Version .EXE, and they say at DX9/10 an fresh install:

WRONG VERSION!!! The Trainer here have the same Problem, it must be a other Version or anything else. PLEASE CHECK IT!!!!

i haven't had a single crash and the trainer works beautifully. thanx Cal and PWiz.

if you have downloaded one version of the trainer already chances are its still logged in your browsers cache try clearing the cache and re-downloading.

The trainer crashes the game now since the patch, I tried turning the automatic update off but it just turns itself on again. I am trying to reinstall the game now so I can revert it to the release version, but I know it will do an automatic update as part of the installation, Does anyone have any tips on how to solve this or are we just going to have to wait for a new version of the trainer?

remember people this game is hard to make a trainer for so we might have to wait a bit before a new trainer is released.

Also this new patch has just braught in dedicated servers as well which is still in beta and has bugs no doubt they will be patching it quite a bit over the next month or so which is gonna make things even more taxing for the trainer makers.

And no doubt with the release of Cheatscapes.com these guys who own this site will be very busy, a new trainer probably will be released soon but we just gotta wait a bit

It's to bad the game can only be played through steam otherwise we would not have to download the patch, turning off auto patch only seems to delay the patch when I reinstalled the game, it would not let me play until I patched it.

well all is sorted now by the looks of things as they have released a new trainer for the new patch
