how can it be that the trainers work well for some, and some not?

Different system configurations, different applications installed... some problems even come down to which Windows Updates you have installed. No two PC's are exactly the same, even ones bought pre-built in a store - once people get them home, sooner or later, they'll still have different settings, applications, updates, driver versions, etc.

Unfortunately there's too many possibilities to create one universal solution, so you just have to try the general solutions given by others and mess around with it yourself.

So what i understand from you is(correct me if I'm wrong) the problem is the application of the pc? so if i tell you that my pc date is: windows vista home premium 32-bits you can give me a solution? to make the mass effect 2 trainer work?

Service Packs and anti-virus will also affect the trainer.

Pretty sure Caliber still remembers Hellgate.

effect the trainer? how? can you explain more please, because i didn't have this problem with the other trainers!

Unfortunately I don't know what's causing the trainer to break for you, I've used CH trainers with both XP, Vista (x86 + x64) and Win 7 (x64) and never had any problems... well, except Hellgate, but that's a painful and repressed memory.

You'll be better posting it in the trainer announcement thread, but to avoid being flamed give as much detail about the problem you're having as you can.
