I have the SEGA retail I bought at Bestbuy and of course it is activated through STEAM.The steam version of the trainer works on my machine but the Retail trainer crashes the game.Don't know if anyone has this problem but since the steam trainer works it really is no sweat!

There is no "Retail" version. It's all Steam. The "Retail" trainer is for Razor release copies.

OK I thought the steam version was the download from steam, and the Retail was the 2 disc version.Whats even more confusing is on page 5 of my manual the that came with the game it says you have to have the DVD in the drive to play the game which is not true, you just start it from the mygames section on steam.

they are pretty much identical, the game NEEDS steam to work regardless if its DVD.
