As it's been announced, it uses steam achievements so one way or another the trainers are going to work with steam it looks like. Think about it like this, these guys are busy with other stuff. Lots of other games out there, the game just came out today, so it takes time to download (Steam) or install (DVD) so just kick back and relax. It might take a little bit.
