Fermi cards have been released for a very selected amount of people (hardware and software developers, a few reviewers and the likes - it is NOT available as OEM or Retail yet)
No, they haven't. Not even to developers or reviewers.
I've been following this for quite a while, they MAY be going out to reviewers in March...but they've announced that before and failed on it.
Trust me, they have. A select few has seen engineering samples of Fermi cards. I wasn't 100% whether any reviewers had got their hands on any, but ES samples have been sent out. (Certain developers have gotten, don't know the specifics of which parties have procured those though.)
A select few have supposedly seen Fermi play demos, that's it. NO ONE has one yet outside of nV. Not reviewers, not developers, not even the bloody AIBs yet.
Anything else you've heard is simply a lie.
Hmm, well I haven't "heard" anything - I have seen a Fermi-based ES sample card at work. At a demonstration, yes, (As an example: Link - don't go telling people there are no Fermi-based boards when you don't have the intel (no pun intended ^^) mate. Yes, these are most likely internal ES's.) and I doubt there are any ES out "in the wild" yet though.
Unknown as to what variant of the GF100 Fermi-based cards this sample was, but yes, it was a Fermi. (Not one of the fake Fermis nVidia demonstrated a few months back)
