So i heard that you keep your armor and weapons if you do a second playthough but i wanna know you can get the other weapons from the collecter ship and still have the one from your first playthough if you do a second playthough.

    Anyone tried it?

Actually you can, you keep your level, your weapons, and oddly enough... you keep relationships, so if you screwed something up with a crew mate I would recommend starting new.

I don't remember the relationships being something kept... all of mine seemed to start from the beginning again. But you definitely keep your weapons and armour.

I think you also keep the weapon specialisation you can pick on the Collector ship, though I can't remember 100% if that's true.

Yeah I really wish I didnt pick the machine gun .... the 2nd machine gun is so much better, Vindicator I think its called.

Relationships change every game, Kinda wondering what the other weapons are like. New game I suppose

Yes I played thru me2 with an imported me1 adept and when I replayed Me2 I still had the collector particle weapon. Think this only works for the specific char not a completely new one that has not gone thru the game once.
You do get other bonuses for completing one run but not weapons
    I think anyway

If youve finished it with a char once and you start a new game you can choose to "import" a ME2 char if you do that you get the following:
    - Keep all HEAVY weapons.
    - Get extra recources and credits at the start.
    - Get 25% more exp

and if you import a ME 1 char you get:
    - 1000 exp (start at Lvl 2).
    - Extra credits if you ME 1 char was rich.
    - Different encounters than normal (meeting extra people!)
