Is it possible to have an ending where you don't die? I've tried a bunch of different things, but in the end you always die on the way to the surface, only to be finished off by elanore. I assume I got the "good" ending, but I'm not sure, I killed tube-baby-man thing... and I killed the guy who gets turned into another big daddy (I'm not good with semi-important character names).

Sinclair you mean. And I think that just how the ending goes. I too tried a bunch of different things. I think being "good" only affects the little sisters seen at the end and weather or not Lamb lives.

Heh, yeah. I like how if you are an evil b**** your little sister (elanore) lets her drown. Saving lamb always seemed like an unsafe decision to me.

Get the "Savior" Achievement, spare Lamb. You'll get the good ending. You'll ride on the outside of the boat all the way back to the surface.

There are four BIK movies corresponding to the ending, they all play out kinda the same way though but with a few differences.

Based on those primarily there's a good ending and a sort of evil ending with a variation for each of those, I assume the real good ending (The colored one with the sisters on it and so.) is what you get when saving all of them plus sparing the lives of those other people (The ending I got after doing this.) with the bad ending being if you do the reverse (Harvest and kill them.) and the two variations is if you harvest or kill a few but the majority decides if it's a bad or good variation.
(Saved more than you harvested or the other way around or something like that.)

Is there an ending where you don't die though? In all the ending you end up riding on the boat back to the surface, but you still die in the ending movie each time don't you?

If you paid attention in the game, you had killed yourself prior to the game, so you're pretty much a walking corpse.

You were re-made by elanore when she took your dna-key to a vita-chamber (respawner). Thats regardless of whether you were good or bad, I meant rather, is there an ending where you don't die once you get to the surface?
