Deal with Direct2Drive or the game developer website for download. Steam is a major virus. It is a memory leacher. Steam is The Collector. It will collect all your memory and devour it. Soon you will have a Reaper in your computer.

I purged Steam out of my computer for what it was trying to do to it. It was contacting The Collector. I now call my computer EDI.
