If you want to come back with all mates to normandy: for tubes select legion then for second team select miranda and for third select samara or jack than if you want to save crew select mordin to escort them and for final select only loyal mates. That should help to get achievement

I'm right at this point, and I'm using your suggestions. I hope you're right.

for alternative, you have to choose tech experts like Tali or Legion.. that's for sure I chose first assault team leader as Legion and it worked... for second team Garrus did also survived and for second alternative which you have to choose which squad members to do protect team with barrier shield I chose Samara and survived.

For last squad mate you choose, I chose Thane and Grunt and they survived.



Also if you choose to save the crew.. Zaeed or Jack, I chose first time as Jack, and second time as Zaeed, they both survived and crews were safely returned to Normandy.

Any squad mates who are loyal they will survive.

According to the Mass Effect wikia site, Tech Specialist for the Tubes should be Tali or Legion. Diversion Squad leader 1 can be Garrus or Miranda, (and maybe Jacob? Don't remember). Biotic field person can be either Jack or Samara. 2nd team leader guy can be the same as the first ones. I chose Tech: Legion, Leader 1: Garrus, Bioitic: Samara, Leader 2: Garrus both times I ran through and worked perfectly. I dunno if you have to chose another on the very last part as both times I've run through the final area I chose "We better hurry up" and managed to do it just based on quick runs. Your mileage on that part may vary though.

After you get IFF from the reaper you can do one more mission legions loyalty mission. Then joker mission automatically kickin once your crew is abducted you must go to omega 4 or your crew will die. I guess mess seargent die first, engineering duo next then kelly and lastly the doctor. All other loyalty mission has to be done before iff mission. Loyalty mission keep that member alive in the suicide mission along with right decision making for team leader/jobs and upgrading ship armor guns and shield.

I found out that as long as your team mates are loyal, you can put them in any position throughout the suicide mission.

The only PROBLEM is with Mordin. He's...well...a troublesome character. If you have not chosen him to escort the normandy crew back, there's 2 other ways to keep him alive:

Method 1) Pick him as one of the squad mate for the final boss. Well, of course, to expect him to survive it, he must be loyal.

Method 2) Do not drain assault rifle users, or rather, the soldier characters (Zaeed, Garrus, Grunt, Samara) from the team (if Mordin is in it) that is holding the rear for you while you go finish off the final boss. Meaning, dun put so many of them into your final boss squad. Apparently, the game picks this up and determines that the rear line was too weak and mordin gets killed. Also, this applies to the escort...dun use these people for escort otherwise it thins the line. I mean if you wan to maximize the chance of his survival.

I tested no. 2 myself. The 1st time I had zaeed and garrus with me for the final boss. Mordin killed. The 2nd time i try, I took Jacob and Thane, and left all the rifle users behind. My whole team survived.

If you are playing at higher difficulty, obviously no. 2 is going to make your life more miserable. Get him for escort is the best way to keep him out of harm's way.

Legion was loyal yet when I chose him for the tube mission he ended up getting killed trying to shut the dooors. So I guess its not all about how loyal they are.

first playthru i only lost 1 and that was in the went, i used the stealthiest of the stealthiest, thane, and he got a bug in his eye and died afterward when closing the door

i used tali as commander for other squad and i later squad was garrus and i picked Grunt and Tali for the Reaper battle

only lost thane, ANNOYING and now i am stuck with the joker mission bug
