Hello,
I have read that one of the DLCs available at launch will be a hover-tank, a replacement for that god-awful MAKO vehicle from ME1.
The question is.. What is there to explore in ME2? I have already completed the game once and there wasn't a single mission or planet with open terrains like in ME1. I have pre-ordered the game and looking forward to replaying it once more, but I just don't see any point in that hover tank if there are no missions/areas which allow it to be used.
Thoughts?

I haven't seen any surface vehicles so far, if you need to go to the planet you go in a shuttle and move around on foot. I am on my second play through so I will be more observant this time.
