In the beginning when Shepard takes his pistols and finally makes his way over to Jacob that is pinned down... the 2 doors are locked and beside shooting the droids over to the other side what else can I do...?

You need to wipe just 1-2 waves and seal the door.

It will start the 10 secs countdown once you activate the door so your job is to clear the path so the door can close

i think you are supposed to use one of jacobs powers- pull or whatever its called just press left shift and choose it (i think theres only one power on him at that time)

You run up to the door press the button. but DO NOT GO IN THE ROOM or the door wont close. its got a 10s count down and enimies wil ltry and run threw it

what in the words "just in the beginning when Shepard gets his gun" points to anywhere else but the tutorial? the door closing happens when you are going to recruit a certain someone (not gonna spoil)
