Mass Effect 2 Message Board  

I am not really good at most mini games and therefore not a big fan of them. Is there a way to play this game without having to play any of the mini games, such as using omni gel like we did in the first game so we could skip that stupid decrypting mini game in the first game?

i hate mini-games too. very tedious. i'm still waiting for my ME2

i don't know if u can escape the "mini" because they are in fact:
- "bypass" = hardware hack (so u can open critical doors and boxes)
- "hacking" = software hack (usually are more credits and some times "logs" of missions , and some tech)
and i didn't see any other button to press to easy gain access.

Aren't they like in the first game cause I never liked them in the first game but they could be skipped if they aren't that would be bad, damn still have a lot of time until it gets here I sure hope that it wont be like GTA 4 cause those got bought out in a day or so and I had to wait couple of weeks to get the game

This mini games are so easy.
the time you need to finish is max 1 minute not more.
you found sometime very useful things in there!!

not only credits, also weapon upgrades and many more...

They reported that it is used to help u upgrade the ship for the final battle, so mini games if u want to beat the game with out a trainer or cheats would be recommended to use the mini game feature.

I'm now stuck at the locked door which needs to use bypass hack. You need to open this door as this leads to a new area. How I wish I can trade my omnigel just like ME1.

So I guess my fears were right you can't just bypass a lock and open something by using something like omnigel instead you have to play the stupid minigame! ACCHH!!!!! Please tell me it isn't so!!!
