OK, this is not a cheat per se, it is more of an exploit of the fact that when you regenerate after falling off a cliff, for example, your character retains the "bolts" and the crystals. Hence, as you begin the level of Planet Kotrog, there is a weapons upgrade spot right in the beginning. Kill the froggie guys in robot suits that are coming at you from the drop-ship, there are a few waves of them, collect their crystals and partsm upgrade whatever you can at the weapons spot, and jump off the platform and die. You will restart in the same place, repeat until you have upgraded everything you have. Very easy.
