The issues with steam can EASILY be worked around. All steam users have to do is tell steam to NEVER auto apply updates to a game. Then a trainer can EASILY be written.
If people have to rewrite trainers for retail copies, then they can easily be re written for steam updates as well

i agree with tallbearnc, would be nice to have a working trainer for this game as the game tends to be a bit overwhelming in some areas.

Yea wouldn't that be something. A company catering to it's paying customers, what a novel idea.

Hey Guys.
I know your problem, i've got it myself a few days ago with the steam version and the trainer 1.3.15.107. Whenever i tried to access the inventory, the game just crashed.
But there is no need for an update, trust me! It may sound crazy but in my rage, i deinstalled the game and the trainer. I reinstalled the game (not necessary for the "cure" and accidentally downloaded the trainer 1.3.13.100 instead of the newer one. I didn't notice it first but when i started the game - it worked! So, what you have to do is simply download the 1.3.13.100 trainer, it will work on the Steam Version! I promise!
