Splinter Cell: Double Agent Message Board  

Everytime after defusing the bomb on the last level the game just sits there and does nothing it says leaving restricted area and all it does is look at outside of the bomb room I waited and waited and waited and nothing the only way out is either (if i'm lucky) is hit F8 to load my personal save and then exit the game or I just hit control alt and delete. Why is this happening? I have not only not cheated the whole mission I do not even have them bound to a key in the config file. So it is not cheats. If not that then what? PLEASE HELP!!!

After defusing the bomb in New York, the SWAT team should come in and find Sam. It shouldn't even give you the option to leave the area.

It's possible game files are missing. Backup your save files, reinstall the game, and see if that fixes anything.

Are you playing from a disc? Or is this game on your hard drive?

Sorry, this is on the PC version, so I have the game installed on my HDD.

I figured out what though. I just went to a save game where I was just about to diffuse the bomb, and then the game didn't freeze after I diffused the bomb and the SWAT team came, and I could do the mini mission on board the boat as well afterwards.

VERY disappointing that Ubi soft only released ONE patch for this buggy game, which was mainly for multi player problems. I hope that the next game in the franchise is kinder to us PC fans...

I have the same exact problem with SergioSA...
it always freezes and this is my third time installing this game! 2 times in XP one time in win7

I was wonderin if having a save game which already finishes the game would help me "move on to the next one?"

Could anybody post a save game file?...im sure it would help the people who had the same problem.

Btw...SergioSA...i tried it, but it didnt work..using quick save or even a regular save. quite distressing...

This is a bug that occurs when resolution is too high. Lower res to 800x600.
