Ok, my PC specs:
*600 of 768 loaded after I can close of the programs I wish to before playing the sims 2. *Which doesn't include the PC's firewall. The pc is not online, but I do not wish to close it do to security reasons I am not wishing to share. So don't ask me why. *2 gigherz processor. *Windows XP SP1. Some of SP2 is installed, but only the parts that don't install privacy invasion crap. *Geforce 6200 graphics card with 256MB onboard. *Expansions I have: Sims 2 Holiday addition, Nightlife, University, Open for bussiness, Glamour life, Happy Holiday Stuff, Pets, Family Fun Stuff.
I would like to know 1/10 how smart you believe you are at the PC.
The last person said 9/10 however, they did not know the difference between, regular PC memory and onboard graphics memory.
So...there opinion don't count.
So my question is, I want to add the Seasons expansion pack. Am I pushing the envelope on my PC?
there is SOME lag. but not a lot. What do you think?

7/10.
Adding Seasons adds loads more features to the game, like farming. The seasons could add a bit more lag to your computer due to rain and snow, but I think you should go for it.

if i was you i'd spend the 50 bucks and add 2 GIG of ram to that PC. it would inprove the overhall experance of all programs because 768MB of system ram now a days isn nothing.
also install the full Service pack 3.. trust me.. if it's privecy issues that bother you.. then don't even turn on the PC. lol. seriosly skipping updates can rob your pc of benefitual fuctions. with a 2GHz CPU and after updating your ram. that rig should last a few more years. ram is cheap nowadays. your best sources would be newegg.com and tigerdirect.com. .. both have good warrantys. message me back if u have more questions reguarding PC upgrades..
