S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat Message Board  

Does anyone have any idea how to join either of the two factions? I'm up to the point of gathering a party to head into Pripyat, but I still havent been able to join with Duty or Freedom. I'm friendly with the loners, and i think that may be the problem, but i'm hoping i'll still be able to join one of them. Any clues?

CoP not that game there you taking a part Duty or Freedom.You may be a friend one of them and thats it. You are the military man remember.

Ahk, thanks. Any tips on how to get friendly with either of them? I gave Freedom the job of guarding the scientist bunker and i also gave them the PDA of the Duty leader, but they're still not fond of me and won't take the Monolith Stalkers.

Did you give them a PDA from Duty smuggler (beginning the game , bandit mission,forestery) its important,and help them reply Duty attack on storage.

What? It is simple, Duty or Freedom, not both of them, read topic, what is the problem!

So basically you have to do about three things for either faction to become friends? Giving the PDA you find RIGHT AT THE START OF THE GAME AND SELL TO OWL, giving the Duty Generals PDA and giving the scientists guarding job? Then they'll take in the Monolith stalkers?

I'm finished so it really dosn't matter.
