Hey there.
So the other day my mother got back from the UK, she had missed my birthday so she presented me with my present: Halo 3 ODST
Joy!!
Or not so much... I put it in and play. When I begin the Kizingo blvd. mission by pressing rb on the gauss cannon as I go into the load screen my xbox tells me the disc is unreadable. I don't understand how, as it is brand new and only has one quarter of a milimetre scratch right on the out side of the disc. It's not the disc code, because europe and South africa use the same code.
I'm hoping I can get some help here as all of my other options are depleted.

I'd try downloading the game to your 360s hard drive, if that works you'll never have to read the disc anymore.
If that doesn't work I'd either try getting an exchanged disc or get it resurfaced.

Yeah that was my first idea, didn't work. and I can't really get it exchanged considering I live in South africa and my mom got it in the UK.

Microsoft has a disc replacement program for any games that they publish. Luckily Halo is one them, so ODST is on the list.
It says the service is available in any country where the 360 sells at authourized retailers. Might want to call support and see if South Africa is one of those countries.
You have to mail in the damaged disc, and pay $20 American though.
