Regarding the Mega Trainer (Patch #5 12.03.2009), Unlimited Health, Ammo, Grenades, N....

The trainers all refer to the patched retail version. I can't find any patches for the PC retail (not Steam) MW2 online. I'm confused. I can't find a version number within the game itself, either. I've tried the latest 2 trainers and they both crash the game.

Thanks, but I still can't find any patches for COD6 Modern Warfare 2 on filefront.com. As far as I can tell, the retail PC version has not been patched as of today. The only patches I find relate to COD4 (the first MW). How can I play the latest trainers if I can't find a patch?

The patches are applied through Steam.

If you are running the game on steam D-load/Use the trainer patch #5 and that should be the version you need after that just down load and use the next new trainer on this site. Hope this is what you were in need of, And as far as the patch version the game is auto updated via Steam and they tend not to show the game version but you could call it something like 1.05

The latest update from steam makes the game version 1.0.172
When you start up multi-player look in the bottom left hand corner of the menu screen and you will see the game version number!

Mine is up to 1.0.181????
