need help can't seem to complete the mage side quest who knows where to find all the codex in the mage tower

"mage sidequest" seems a little vague to me, plus to ask for ALL the codex entries found in the tower is a tall order that would take alot of typing to explain.

Indeed. I remember watchguard of the reaching to be one of the quests there. If you find enough notes it gives you instructions for a ritual involving activating certain statues. On the 3rd floor if I remember rightly there is a room with three statues that are labeled when you press tab. Click in order left, right, middle I think (the order is mentioned at the bottom of the codex entry when you have all parts) Then then in centre room with 4 tranquils undergoing some transformation by abominations another statue can be clicked which completes the ritual. No idea if this is the one you want but it was the only one even vaguely tricky to find that I remember

the name of the side quest are summoning science and watchguard

if you are playing on PC (i would assume you are) keep the TAB button held down with tape which will highlight every clickable item/object/person (even hidden items) and usually even show the name of the highlighted object

To totaly complete the summoning mission, once youve found the instructions and done each of the 3 circles in first room, combine the instructions into one lump to activate 4th circle in next room behind bookcase

and use STEAL on the guy it summons.....you then get a codex you would not otherwise get
