They better be starting to make Assassin's Creed III cause i hate s***y endings like this.

I like the ending, just because of the humor,throughout the game.

It's supposed to be a cliff-hanger. Assassin's Creed was announced to be a trilogy even before the second game was released.

Also, to answer your question,

That's part of the bleeding effect. He's accessing the memories that are stored inside him. Also, notice that when the Altair leaves, the view stays with the woman. That woman is Maria, who is referenced in an Informer Mission in the first game, and as the woman who is impersonating Robert De Sable. She is carrying Altair's baby, which is why the memory view stays with her.

@TMH: I know, i think it is just because i really can't wait to know what is going to happen. that is why i finished the game the second i got it.

I reckon the ending was pretty fun, but there is obviously going to be and new assassins creed.

I wonder what the new one is going to be about becuase the "God" said that the sun will fry the earth so will Desmond go back in the animus and find a way to stop it global warming or something??...It looks like its leading that way.

Yes, i know. The only thing that i hate (that i mentioned a while ago) is that i can't wait long for another assassins creed to be made, they should and probably finish the game in AC III.

It's a CONFIRMED trilogy. It's been confirmed for quite some time now.

It's NOT global warming. It's 2012 (again) and Abstergo are supposed to launch a satellite on this day, containing a Peice of Eden. This is also said to be the day, in popular legend that a massive solar flare will burn the earth. It's something similar to what Nicolas Cage did in "Knowing".
