Very much so, an addition like co-op would make this game many times more awesome.
I'm not saying that it is not awesome, however, it's one of the best games I've played in a long while.
you make it sound like co-op is easy to implement, for a game such as this i would think that it would be next to impossible (think Dialogue/Romance options)
But don't get me wrong, i think co-op in games is great, but you can't just slap a co-op on every game and expect it to work (i cant see anyone that would be willing to take a backseat in this game while the other got to pick all the dialogue options etc). not to mention the extra production time it would have taken to try and implement any sort of co-op
It changes nothing I still hate this game.
That's your opinion. But you still haven't put forth your reasons for hating this game.

@H.H.H: You've started a discussion, it would be unfair to lock this thread when people are still using it.
@Anyone: Co-op would awesome, and could be implemented like Neverwinter Nights 2. Where the host would choose what to say, and the rest of the party can consist of other users. They could either control the main characters, or maybe control their own. Fable 2 also had an 'Okay' idea. Where the secondary players are just 'Henchman'. Not effecting the main story at all, just an extra sidearm. Of course they only allowed one extra player.
@ H.H.H: Maybe you just don't like RPG games?
@ Anyone: This game is a masterpiece. It is one of the 5 all-time favourite games of mine (others being diablo 2, spellforce, witcher & gta iv)
In my opinion this game is better than elderscrolls oblivion.
I'm playing this game for the third time now, & it still seems different than i first played it. DAO is certainly worth the money, worth buying the collector's edition.
I'm finding it quite a challenge to find flaws in this game.
Graphics are excellent, music is great, voice-acting is out of this world, story-line outranks a hollywood blockbuster & gameplay is very satisfying.
Hats off to bioware
No I love RPG games, like fallout or Mass effect or oblivion or ...
This games has nothing usefull and enjoyable and the worst thing is controls. I'd like to play rgp games like other rpg games not with mouse.
I thought it was a great game to play through once atleast ... hint of baldurs to it and a touch of World of Warcraft but only thing Dragon age had better was the graphics ... not that it was a bad game but it had some big shoes to fill
Memory leak on the PC version really put me off playing it a second time ... might go back to it again once they fix the problem
Or how things aren't quite mapped out correctly. If you try hard enough there's a spot next to the new dwarven chantry where you can go behind the buildings and get stuck. Although I did find a way back out near the main entrance to the commons. It reminded me of the old noclip command.
