Since going to Win 7 Ultimate 64bit I have never been able to get a trainer to run properly.
I have tried it with compatibility mode and as admin. Am I missing something?

Elaborate on what you mean by "I never been able to get a trainer to run". Does it load? Does it just not do anything to the game? The first thing to check would be security software though, as I have used an x64 OS in the past for both developing and using trainers, with no issues.

It always works perfectly for me. Run properly? What are you doing with him? Trainer cannot be run unproperly.
chmw2.exe -> wait for menu(im always forgot this, so starting when loadind level)-> F1 -> pull the cheat trigger ^_^

I have Win 7 64 bit like you, Ultimate, activated(license).
I was never used compatibility mode, admin mode, never.

Ah, maybe you should try license RETAIL game bought in shop.
Or steam version of this trainer - for games bought in steam. You should always check version of game. It's simple like peace of cake or cookie ^_^

It loads but I never hear the "activated" message. I press F1 from the main menu and nothing .. on XP64 bit works like a charm.. I am running Win7 on an SSD drive so XP isn't really an option anymore.
I have tried with the combo or admin and compatibility and straight "out of the box" still nothing.

Dont know what you're doing then, cuz im also running on Win7 X64 with an OCZ CORE SSD Drive and i dont have the slightest issue running any trainer so far. (and yes, i've downloaded quite a few of them allready)

Including the CodMW2 Trainer... Runs like clockwork on my O/S.

The only thing i can think of... Do you have a legal version of Windows 7? So no Release candidate version or pirated version? It might be related to some windows update you might not have downloaded...

Both Windows and CoD MW2 are legit versions. Samething happened while testing a registered trial edition of 7 also.

Try running the trainer in administrator mode
it works for me.
right click on trainer>>run as administrator
