I have done some investigation as to why the trainer is crashing the game. It seems to revolve around the particle effects of the gun's smoke when fired. Whenever you turn on rapid fire or use a shotgun with unlimited ammo firing wildly, it seems to over load your video ram causing a crash. I would recommend either removing the rapid fire option or posting a cautionary warning when using it.
The crash revolves around the g_smoke module.

Yeah it's kind of obvious when you start firing off that amount of projecticles and it crashes at that point. It's already been addressed, commented on and left. No need to keep bringing it up. It doesn't 'overload video RAM' either; certainly not here anyway. It's to do with the game engine flunking due to the mass amount of info generated by the particles. If anything it's more CPU intensive than video.
