Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Message Board  

I swear there has been so many updates for Modern Warfare 2 recently and I cant really find any bugs or faults in the game that would justify all these updates.

Also, weird thing is that usually some of the cheats off a trainer may work after an update but it seems that all the most recent trainer codes wont work.

You do have to wonder are they looking to this site to find out what workarounds they are missing in the game. I suppose its why I paid for this site ... they are the best :P

Did they fix the freeze and lagging problem in the menu and getting an error on last stage for SP?

Cause after I beat the game, freeze during gameplay or in menu does not stop or setting back to normal...

Never seen any problems with lagging in the menu or anywhere come to think of it ... the only bugs that I have seen were caused by me messing around.

Once running out of the pit and getting pinned between 2 humvees and stuck in the bonnet and the other was testing out the ole infinite ammo and no reload with dual double barrel shotguns in the market place .... bullets, debris and bodies flying everywhere. Ya never realise how many destructable objects there are in the game till you bring down hell on them all at once

Personally, i've played through twice with no obvious bugs, performance problems or balancing issues. That's singleplayer though and not multiplayer. Many times the patches are to address multiplayer elements, so I can't comment on that.

As for the 'patching due to trainers', that wouldn't be a suprise. I'm pretty sure that certain game developers do update to kill/slow cheating. Take Battleforge for example. EA did/do make life hard on that one. Like you say, if there are no obvious issues with the game, why the frequent patches. Probably just 'calendar updates', where they have them all planned out to prevent this sort of thing...
