If only people listened...
I have it installed on my "Gaming PC" and registered it, it took a while, but it did it, now I obviously can't "Legally" install it on my laptop and register it on STEAM twice, so now I can't download the patch through steam which means I can't patch the game on the gaming PC, do understand me now? good.
So how do I get the Patches?
Sadly though, the only way to get patches are from Steam...
Neither Steam or Infinity Ward release patches to public to ohter sources, but only on Steam.
Therefore, you gotta get patchs through steam and on online.

Yeah... that's the problem though... I can't use my internet connection at home. So let me get this straight, I can NEVER patch my game unless I have decent internet access?
That is assuming that everybody in the WHOLE WORLD has something other than dial-up! That's ridiculous. I understand that this is a mainly online game, but it DOES have a single player aspect, now that shouldn't require internet access.
