Yep, game crashes to desktop when trainer is enabled now.

Yes Sir,

When I tried to play Left 4 Dead 2 with the trainer running, it crashes to the desktop - Not so yesterday.
This is another reason I hate "Steam"! The game was running perfectly fine (with trainer); but no, Steam had to jack it around and create a problem!

We are being consumed by statism (state-ism). It is very unfortunate that our normalcy bias prevents us from being aware of this. Also, regardless of our level of awareness, the end of this process will be our enslavement to the state.

They fixed problems. As much as I enjoy cheating at games (it's about fun, not the challenge, right?), I would much rather have one that works well than to run into problems.

Also, Steam is a content delivery system, Valve is the developer/publisher. Are you really going to bash a company for keeping on top of problems?

Be patient and the new trainer should be out before long.

While that may be helpful to know, it does not address the updating of the existing options for the current patch release.

It's a new game, and is bound to be updated very often. The initial bugs and unbalanced gameplay will settle down after a bit, and the patch rate will drop right down. It doesn't make sense to keep updating the trainer when after a day or so the game gets patched again. He didn't say it would no longer be updated at all.
