I can't remember what code it is, but if you use a thirdPerson cmd line code, and you are on the "Cliff Hanger" mission, when you get on the snow mobile, you can press the middle mouse button and it changes to third person mode... but you can only see the snow mobile, not the person...

And when I have to go online with Steam, as I occasionally do, it'll undo the mod.

Hence, no console. The developers intentionally removed it so that people couldn't easily test mods on their precious piece of crap game.

Like I said, the console is there, just disabled. The mod doesn't introduce a new feature. And i'm not so sure about your mod comment, as the last game in the series was created with mod-functionality in mind (the mod menus, community, documentation they released etc). It's not exactly designed for online play though, so if you want both, I guess it's tough.

The thing with Steam is that if you edit the game's files, it replaces them with the stock model. When you're online with it, anyway.

Unless you set it to not update the game, which is not an option with MW2.
