Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Message Board  

so i've found the video of 3rd person gameplay on youtube. my question is how can it be use to play in singleplayer, or specops mode...

i'm guessing it will be some sort of console command to switch to 3rd person?

"3rd Person is a new playlist mode in Multiplayer".
"So you can play your favourite playlists [or] game types, like Team Deathmatch just standard, or in Hardcore mode ([with] limited HUD and increased bullet damage) or in the new 3rd Person mode, which means you and everyone in the game is in 3rd person."

There is no command console for MW2, and therefore there will likely never be modding.

Whether or not there is a CVAR to toggle third-person I don't know. But you'll soon find out.

shame, the command doesn't seem to work in SP. the console works pretty good though.
