Yeah the load times get a bit silly after a while, but exiting the game helps for me as well.

Also, I think a lot of people will get the 360 version just to get the gamer points.

I prefer PC controls for these types of RPGs.

Yeah the loading time needs to be fixed in future patch.

PC looks better, PC also has more control and better views. I have no idea why people say this game doesn't have good graphics (model, texture and animation). The model and textures are excellent but animation is not so great. If you ignore the cumbersome movement/animation of the characters and just focus on their expressions and texture detail; I'd dare say it's probably rank in one of the few best games I have ever played.

So if you have a decent PC just play it on PC. If your PC can't even play the Civ4 properly then don't bother with PC games until you upgrade it. I'd say a PC with a 2.4GHz+ dual core and a video card comparable to Nvidia 9600GT is 'decent' enough to play this game with better graphics than the PS3/Xbox. The PC experience while playing the game is so much better just because of the high detail.

BTW, did anybody notice the 'shiny' with a bit of grainy texture on mage clothing? I mean it looks like their cape is made out of leather instead of cloth.

Is the xbox 360 version diffrent in any way, than the PC version. Thanks in advance.

The only thing I saw that was differnet is the overall colour setup, I found the PC version to have a more vibrent colour set and the Xbox version had a more umm grayish tone to it.

But that might just be me.

to fix that loading issue simply save your game, exit, then restart and load up. Few hours later do it again, its no big deal to me *shrugs*.

i myself prefer the pc version, with the hotkeys/hotbar making combat easier.

The dlc and mods people come up with will make this game one of the better if not the best rpg for a long time.

The PC version is far more tactical then the 360. The PC comes with the ability to pause the game and choose your next move, where as the 360 comes with a unique button system to tell your party how to proceed. The PC also handles the graphics better then the 360(If you have a capable PC). Plus the PC has the Toolset, which would add more custom content in the near future.
"The tools may be more effective than those who battled before you but make no mistake, you are no less a barbarian than your ancestors with their clubs and rocks. The only difference now is you do it without honor; cowering behind your guns, your bombs. You don't use tactic, just force..."
