Regarding the Cheats & Hints.

Regarding the ring she gives your character... does it really make a difference in the game if you wear it or can I get rid of it and wear something more powerful?

There's a quest where she mentions the ring and its ability. However I'm doing a second playthrough where I've never spoken to her once and I imagine that cutscene will play out just fine without the ring. Even if you unequip or sell the ring, if Morrigan has given you the ring and she's in your party when the cutscene triggers then she may very well still refer to it regardless. Either way, not keeping it won't break the game.
