You know, something I noticed. When editing items, it seems to affect -all- items of the type. Edited family longsword so it levelled with my character...whenever I did this, the damage on all the other weapons was -also- boosted. Is there any way to individually edit weapons? And does this affect NPC damage, as well? It could have just been me, but I could have sworn it did...

It is actually a good thing.
There is at least 1 place in the game where you would use this to your advantage as you defend a location with lots of NPC help.
This helps greatly in keeping them alive.

well if you make yourself invincible with either trainer or console cheat then it doesn't matter how much the enemies can hit you, does it?
besides, those damage will reset to their weapon default damage the next time you launch the game.

If I use the item-edit feature, I find that my game will crash within about 30 minutes. Much better to use the toolset.
