i cant install new patchs on stalker
error:the update program couldn`t find the game.
need help please.

try to copy the patch in the install folder of the game and run it again, also try copying it in the "bin" folder and try it. Hopefully you got the right version of the patch for your game, means international and stuff.

If that not works, try to reinstall the game, that should do.

That is because the game might not be having any registry entries of it.

Try re-installing the whole game in the default path (For no specific reason), don't apply any cracks (If the patch checks the intergrity of the files), and run the update.

The game should hopefully be patched.

And yes, you need to have the original DVD setup to make correct registry entries, if you have just copied the game files from someone, it won't work (We see that in many game rips).
