anybody know where i'm suppose to seek out more history about soldiers peak to complete this side quest or whatever any help would be good i'm stuck.

uhm you can find them in a,
Statue codex book Raspberry jam jug and a corspe
Just hold on tab and search thoroughly, the place isn't that big so shouldn't be hard.

what am i suppose to do i hold the tab button and all it does is show everybody locations and names?

Im having a problem with that quest as well. I have found all four entries, but i cant get to the chest. I think im supposed to inspect the portrait on the second floor, but it doesnt appear to be able to be activated. Not sure what to do...

Yeah, holding the tab button alot is really important in this game if you want to find everything. I hold it about 90% of the time I'm playing. About the portrait; yeah, you have to right-click it, then select recite the warden oath and a chest will appear.

unfortunatly i completed the main quest in the keep b4 looking for the codex clues and now i cant get back in... anyone know of a way back?

There is no way back, you have to finish that side quest before you complete the main questline.
