Because most people think of yellow when they think of electricity. And pikachu is an electric type.

Yellow is close to orange and Pikachu is close to Riachu

Danger signs and nature always use Black and Yellow (that includes hues and shades of yellow) have always been Warning signs.

Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA
