Anyone know where to find all the notes of the apprentice?

2 in apprentice quarters (1st floor)
2 in senior mage quarters (2nd floor
1 in Great hall (3rd floor)

Just hold tab and search.

you have to complete every other side quest for Circle of magi too if you want to complete watchguard of the reaches quest btw and i mean ones that you get during broken circle quest line.

Oh thx!!

You don't have to complete all the other quests to finish Watchguard, it can be completed as soon as you have all the notes by using the statues on the 3rd floor.

After the last statue (one with the Spear pointing down) you can run back downstairs to the first floor and try using the door to the basement, the big bad for the quest will show up and you can take it down then and there.

This also has the advantage of having the 2 mages that Wynne left there assisting you, which can be a big help at lower levels.
