im at the mission where u defeat the red and black vortex thing....i got two fossils but they were the same spectrobe but diff colors and same element...but anyway they were child spectrobes (the ones that find stuff to dig up right?) does that make me mission hhalfway done i just have to battle the vortex...and to all who have been helping me thnx

How far into the game are you? I haven't played this in a while so you'll need to jog my memory.
Yes, Child Spectrobes are the ones that search and find fossils and minerals for you. There are three elements or properties that it can be: Aroura, Corona or Flash. Each Spectrobe also has three different colours that it can be once awakened from its fossil, Original Colour, Custom 1 and Custom 2. These colour's can't be changed until you obtain special minerals later on in the game.
Also, Child Spectrobes can't actually fight the Krawl. You need to feed them minerals and evolve them into Adult Spectrobes in order to battle them.
