I have AVG antivirus and it keeps saying that the trainer for 1.0 is a virus and keeps deleting it. So I scanned it with a couple of different antivirus programs and it's clean. I managed to complete the game anyway (didn't really need the trainer for most of it). Now I've upgraded to version 1.1 and the 1.1 trainer is showing clean and working like a charm. By the way, I found it very important to disable the infinite life function of the trainers when dealing with Scarecrow or in Killer Croc's lair. Dying during a Scarecrow incident would lock up the game and in Killer Croc's lair, Whenever Batman should have died, he would just pop back up onto the platforms but was unable to move. Anyway, hope that helps someone. This is an awesome game. I'm replaying the game on hard now and it's a lot trickier!

Yes, AVG reads the first trainer as a virus. must turn AVG off, or do as done above.

I understand that, you don't have to shout. I know there's no viruses but it doesn't stop the scanner from deleting the file even when I've added it to the exceptions. No worry, though, update the game and use the new trainer..all good now.

I got the same problem.
And this is the first and only trainer I got with this problem.
I'm using Avast 4.8 Build: Sep2009 (4.8.1368), database from 12/20/2009 , 091220-1.
The latest database.
Strange!
Btw, I don't think it's our anti virus software problem, because the 1.1 version don't have this problem
