Crashes for me as well. Purchased from the Runic website. The faq on the site says that there are different versions. One from Steam, Retail, Runic site and Perfect World site.
I am guessing the encryption used is diff for each version?

Anyways, I tried both trainers and neither will work for me. I know its not my pc because borderlands trainer works fine =).

When you guys said retail, which website/company do you guys mean? I bought mine from Perfect World website, don't know if that's the retail one or not. And I know steam had one too. And if there are more other than perfect world and steam ones, then i have no idea which one is the real "retail" ones. To the one that made the retail trainer, which retail one did you bought yours from?

As far as retail goes, that's the one you can buy in a store.

edit, When I say store...I mean boxed copy as in going out and buying it at Best Buy etc.

For me the game crashes when going ingame.
Vista 32-bit system with 1.1 version of the game from their website, disabled AV,FW,UAC etc.. When activating the trainer, it babbles something about "CH.dll is not meant to be used on a windows system or there is an error in it".
This trainer was my freebie for purchasing the manager thingy, so I guess its totally wasted now, since I can't get any updates or anything...

Same problem here. I bought the boxed(retail) version of the game. I press F1 on the main menu, then when I press to load the character the game crashes.

yea same for me tested cheat today game crashs on menu screen
