Hmm. I tried changing firewall settings to no avail. There's no virus protection or anything running, but I still can't get it to work. UAC is off as well. My version of Torchlight is 1.1, is that the version the trainer was made for?

Did you try running both steam and the trainer as admin? Mine seems to be working fine without having to do anything special but it's worth a shot trying to run as admin if you haven't already.

Yeah, still didn't work. I guess I'll just use something else for now. It's weird, because I've never had an issue with trainers from CH before this.

Ya same. I really enjoy getting trainers from here. Saves me time of doing any of my own. Can't stand it, can't get em half the time either because of DMAs. First issue I've ever had. I'm sure they'll fix it though.
Grammar and punctuation is the difference between; "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse." ...and... i helped my uncle jack off a horse.

I'm using Windows XP, no antivirus progs, firewalls, or anything like that. No other programs in the background. Just the trainer and Torchlight.
Got my version of Torchlight directly from the site, via that e-junkie download that also gives you your key to the game.
Both trainers crash the moment I go to load the game. Activation is fine, and with the Steam version I can load into a game (I can sit at the main menu without problems), turn on the options... but they don't work. Then the game crashes after a minute or two.
The game is fairly easy, but I usually check for the trainers in case I hit any tough/annoying spots in a game. This is one of those really really rare moments where none of the trainers are working for me. Usually they all work, even without needing the no-DVD patches.
It's a bummer, but I'll live, and check back later to see if there are any updates.
