Empire: Total War Message Board  

Some Total War games give you the option of carrying on after you beat the main campaign. WTF? It is impossible to get all the perks to fully utilize the game at max. I wish they had a continuation for this one like some of the others..... Just a thought..

I agree. Not only is it too short but the next one picks up literally right where this one leaves off. The next one should be focused more on the the whole 19th century rather than just Napoleon's era. I think that Empire already pretty much covers the type of warfare found in Napoleon's time and that the next total war is going to more or less a repeat of Empire. Doubt that I will buy it.

I dont even get it, why dont they just make the Napoleonic thing a new dlc? are they going to be doing an extreme overhaul of the system or graphics? I doubt it. I bet any modder with the right tools could make this, same as the native dlc(I like it but come on)it just feels cheap that now theyre making an expansion thats jsut going to be Napoleon, or at least thats how theyve been advertising it. Instead of making that game, they should be focusing on finishing this one!

I do agree that the game is kinda short, but they cant really make it go longer, once the time period is over, its over. its longer for medieval TW cuz the period was longer. Its like 1814 or something on my american campaign and I am feeling the pressure. I do wish they would open up the rest of the world though, I think they coudl make the game more fun if they had more playable factions that you didnt havta mod to make available and more area to explore and take over, it would make things more fun I think. Rgith now all you can choose is to take over europe america or india, and thats gets boring.

Not many wars in the 19th century?! You're kidding, right? War of 1812, Franco-Prussian War, US Civil War, Mexican War of Independence, American Indian Wars, Mexican-American War, Texas War of Independence, Spanish-American War, and I'm sure there were quite a few more. Typical English arrogance, you figure just cause a War didn't involve "Great" Britain, it didn't happen.

they need a wwI or wwII total war or a remake of the old ones with naval battles and stuff

I don't know of any WW1 games at all. Was there any made for that war ever? And WW2 has been done to death with call of duty, medal of honor etc. I wouldn't mind playing a game like ww2 total war but it seems unlikely it will be made.
