Here's a question, if the enemy has the same kind of units you do, wouldn't they get the same buffs from the edit?
Using the DBEditor:
euro_line_infantry_prussia
euro_line_infantry_russia
euro_line_infantry_spain
Artillery if edited will cause mayhem, because there's no unique faction artillery, everyone has the same type, except for the Ottomans who have the ottoman_great_cannon. European infantry are ok to edit but colonial infantry in the america's are not faction specific. They are all euro_line_infantry_colonial. Edit that and you will probably see French, Spanish and British colonial line infantry with super stats.
Ships should only be edited if they unique names like HMS Victory because you know the British only will have that ship. Or the USS Constitution belonging to the Americans. Don't go editing something like a brig or a frigate because every faction has those.

Ok, so i should look more to uniques units. But what if i wanted to create a unit that's specific to a nation, would that give me a boat up **** creek with crashes?
