Just downloaded the steam version, when i start it the intros come up and all that like normal, at main menu everything seems to be working like usual but when i press a button (enter, key buttons even windows button) the game freezes and it dont unfreeze so i have to close it but i cant play the game

yep same here we need a trainer for the steam version lets hope they change the trainer for the old game

I have Steam version of SR2 and only problem is screen flashes annoyingly after you move from one map to another. Fixed this by simply not playing the game in fullscreen mode. Playing it in a windowed view and no more problem. Maybe this will work for you.
