I can't get my trainer to work no matter what I do. I disabled both my firewall and AV software, I extracted the trainer into the game directory, I tried XP compatibility mode but have had no luck what so ever. The game and trainer will load up just fine. I hear the "Activated" and "On" alerts when I press the desired keys but once the game gets running none of the effects work. I even run the Nocd hack thinking that its the copy protection causing the problem but the only effect of that is that the game loads faster. The only other thing that I can think of is that I have a different version of the game than the one the trainer was written for but the games read me has it as version 1.00. I am stumped as this has never happened to me before. My Cheat Happens trainers are by far the most reliable and No one else seems to have this problem to this extent. To my knowledge It is a normal retail copy though it did have a laser/3d label/sticker of the burlap head chainsaw dude on the front cover. I am desperate and would appreciate any help.

I run all my trainers from /My Documents/My Trainers, never from the game folder; this is in Win XP.

I have a special folder that I run all my trainers from. I just ran it from the game directory because that was one of the measures suggested on this site's "Trainer Troubleshooting Guide". Needless to say I tried everything on the guide but still came up empty. The only thing that I haven't done is install it on a different computer to see if my gaming rig is the problem but I'm not sure as to how this would affect my Unlimited Member status because I don't want it too look like I gave away my customized trainer
