how can i use thos action replay cheats? on Final Fantasy XII PlayStation 2 Message Board - Page 1

hi, i have an action replay max disk (Datel it says).whenever i try to add these codes it reports :"This cheat is for the wrong game".what's wrong? and what is (M) mean?can someone help me out?
i've seen the instruction on some my country's gaming forums but they were so confused.

Do you have the proper CoSMOS?

I think (M) means Master Cheat but I'm not sure.

I tend to avoid AR Cheats. One of the save files I used from their disk corrupted my memory card and killed all my saves. That's several hundred hours of Final Fantasy gone in an instant.
